Our special guest speaker is Judy Tabar,  President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) serving Connecticut and Rhode Island. PPSNE has a budget of $26 million, serving 70,000 patients at 19 health centers. Prior to the 2009 merger with the Rhode Island affiliate, Judy was the CEO of Planned Parenthood of Connecticut, serving in that role since January 1997. Judy joined Planned Parenthood in 1980 as a physician assistant providing direct patient care. She has served in numerous leadership roles on the national level, and currently co‐chairs the PPFA Leadership and Diversity Task Force. Judy is the 2007 recipient of the Ruth Green Award, in recognition of her leadership excellence as a CEO.
