Thursday Night, January 9, Westbrook Library
Kick off your New Year with
the Shoreline League of Democratic Women

Dear SLDW Members and Friends,

We are happy to announce our January "Rock Your Cause" Night.
This will be a fun night of networking and learning about activist organizations and their initiatives.

Join us for this potluck and networking event, a great way to get acquainted with your fellow Democrats and the great causes they are passionate about!

To participate, first select your favorite cause or grassroots organization. Bring your laptop, printouts, signs and other materials that will tell the story about your favorite cause. There will be an Internet connection at the library, so you can reference your cause's web site and more. Come ready to Rock Your Cause and tell us why you dig their vibe!

The Shoreline League of Democratic Women is all about “deeds not words" and our members will be highlighting their favorite causes at this event.
When:  Thursday, January 9, 2014
Time:    Potluck - 6:15pm - 7pm
               Rock Your Cause: 7pm - 9 pm

If you're traveling down Route 1 toward Old Saybrook, you will see Cafe Routier Bistro on the right. Goodspeed Drive is just past the restaurant on the left side of the street.

**The Community Room is located on the bottom floor of the library. You can enter this area from the back of the library building, so park in the parking lot behind the library and enter on the lower level.
